George William Wahl

Wahl George William, 81 years of Golden Valley, MN died peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 11, 2002 and went to be with the Lord whom he loved very much. George served in the European Theater in WWII. Survived by loving wife, Jean of 62 years; 3 children, Judith (Victor) Kochaver, George (Marlene) Wahl, Betty Jean Wahl; 4 granddaughters, Jean, Laura, Julie and Lisa; 4 great-grandchildren, Marc, Marie, Chad and Michelle and sister, Bernice Backen, Sun City, AZ along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Reviewal Monday, 6-8 PM at Washburn McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Hwy 100 at Vernon Ave. Memorial service Tuesday, 11:30 AM First Baptist Church, 10th & Hennepin Ave., Mpls.
