Freed John F., age 82, of North Branch, on Jan. 9, 2002. Preceded in death by sisters, Marion Sorenson & Harriette Lindstrom and son-in-law, Billy Williams Sr. Survived by wife, Edna; children, Barbara (Terrance) LaCanne, Dennis (Karen), Nancy Williams, Jerry (Roberta), David (Kathy), Carol Freed; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Glen) Berglund; and many other relatives & friends. Funeral service 2 pm Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Almelund. Visitation 4-7 pm Friday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom and one hour before service at church.
