Nasby Howe E., age 91, of Jackson, MN, died Jan. 6, 2002 at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice, Edina, MN. Born Nov. 20, 1910 in Jackson, MN to Asher and Carrie Nasby. Graduated from Jackson High School and then St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and later from the U of M Law School. Served 2 years in the US Army during WWII, a couple of years with the FBI in Newark, NJ and in Japan. He returned to Jackson, MN to open his law office. Active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, member of the church choir. Great supporter of Luther Seminary, St. Olaf College and the U of MN Law School. Luther Seminary was a significant beneficiary of Howe's generosity. Survived by nephew, David & Karen Nasby; sister-in-law, Constance Nasby; nieces, Mary & John Lohre, Elizabeth & Tim Maland. Preceded by parents & brother, A. Gordon Nasby. Service Thurs., Jan. 10, 10 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Jackson, MN. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
