Survived by wife, Katherine Irene; children, Gary (Val), Roger (Kim), Joyce Hersom, Karen (Mike) Humenik, Marlene Hersom and Rodney (Cheryl). Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Bob) Brandi; aunt, Edna Stenbeck; cousin, Virginia (Russ) Toebe and other relatives and friends. Service Sat., 11:00 am at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Visitation Friday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home and also 1 hour prior to the service.
