Rehbein, John Robert age 90, of Bloomington, called "home" to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 16, 2017. John was born in Booneville, Iowa to Walter and Clara Rehbein. John was an avid birdwatcher, and a registered professional engineer. He loved solving problems, meeting new people, and telling others about Jesus. He is survived by his children, David (Leila) Rehbein, Roger (Kay) Rehbein, Michael (Ann Marie) Rehbein, Ross Rehbein, and Rachel (Harvey) Thompson; sister, Alice Hill; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his wife, Irma; parents; brothers Carl and Vernon and sisters Martha and Elsie. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11 AM at Redemption Lutheran Church, 927 E. Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington. Visitation will be for one hour prior to service at the church.
