Pfannmuller, Mae Charlotta age 87, of Edina, passed away quietly after a brief illness on Feb. 5, 2014. Born Dec. 15, 1926 in New York City. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Julian Pfannmuller and is survived by daughters, Lee (Gary Seim) Pfannmuller of Mpls and Susan Pfannmuller of Overland Park, KS and granddaughters, Kristen and Gretchen Seim. An excellent baker, she treated all her friends, neighbors and colleagues with an amazing array of cookies each holiday season. Her seamstress skills were unparalleled and she outfitted her husband, daughters, granddaughters and granddaughters’ dolls with entire wardrobes using a 1950 Singer Sewing Machine. A lover of cats, she was a lifetime member of the American Cat Fanciers Assoc. Mae bravely moved from St. Charles, MO to the Twin Cities in Dec. 2012 where all the staff at Walker Care Suites in Edina kept her healthy, content and comfortable her last year. Despite having left New York City decades ago, her spunk and sassiness never left and was a source of enjoyment to all. Private family service with interment will be held at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Twin Cites, MN. Memorial contributions to the Missouri Heritage Conservation Foundation directed to the August Bush Conservation Area Nature Center are appreciated.
