Dorothy M. Kilian
Kilian, Dorothy Martha (Seep) 78, died on Thursday, Jan- uary 30th at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. Dorothy, known as Dort to many, was born and raised in Melrose, Minnesota, the youngest of 7 children born to Adam and Elizabeth Seep. Dorothy is survived by Robert, her husband of 58 years; children: Michael (Kim) Kilian, Mequon, Wisconsin; Joan Kilian-Ikeler (Alan) Spring Green, Wisconsin; Mark (Lisa) Kilian, Clive, Iowa; Judy Kilian-Weber (Jeff), Golden Valley, Minnesota. Grandchildren: Abby, Chloe (daughters of Lori Ross Kilian); Elizabeth, Elliot, and Kristopher Ikeler; Matthew and Julia Kilian; Nicholas and Natalie Weber; step-grandsons, Ryan and Justin Fillinger (sons of Kim). She is also survived by her sister, Jeanette Brutger of St. Cloud, Minnesota and brother, Don (Jean) Seep of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends. Family will greet visitors from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 6 Interlachen Road in Hopkins on Monday, February 3rd followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitors will also be welcomed at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday prior to a mass at St. Gabriel at 11:00 a.m. with lunch immediately following. Private family interment will be held. Memorials may be directed to Notre Dame Academy in Minnetonka, St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Hopkins, or the Frauenshuh Cancer Center in St. Louis Park.
