Conlin, Bernard J. February 12, 1941 - January 18, 2014 Ivins, UT formerly of Minneapolis, MN - Bernard J Conlin, 72, died Saturday January 18, 2014, at his home with his family. He was born February 12, 1941, in Minneapolis to Bernard and Marguerite (Carolan) Conlin. He married Kathy (Beastrom) Conlin in St. Cloud, MN in 1967. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Minnesota. Bernie graduated from Cathedral High School in 1959. He served in the Navy for 4 years. After the Navy he worked at General Mills and retired in 2000. He loved to fish, hunt and play softball. He had a love for all sports and enjoyed watching and attending the Vikings and the Twins games over the years. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and attending their activities. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Kelly and (Scott) Johnson of Bird Island, MN; son, Ken and (Shawn) Conlin of Big Rapids, MI; sister, Mary Ellen and (Lloyd) Pogatchnik of Aitken, MN; and four grandchildren, Jaden and Jordan Johnson and Riley and Kyle Conlin; many nieces and nephews.
