Hannah, William C. 68, of Owatonna, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. He was born October 8, 1944 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of William and Jean (Stephens) Hannah. He graduated from West High School in Minneapolis. He served in the U.S. Army and returned to Minneapolis where he worked for the U.S. Post Office until joining the Sheet Metal Workers Union in Minneapolis. There he worked for Carter Day International. In 1996, he worked for the Minneapolis Convention Center until his retirement. In May of 2011, he moved to Owatonna to reside near his family. He is survived by his daughters, Cheri (and Mark) Spatenka of Owatonna, and Tammy (and Doug) Fincel of Grand Marais; eight grandchildren; honorary granddaughter; three sisters, Connie Barfield of Libby, MT, Marilyn Stevens of Hemet, CA, and Shirley (and Bill) Brinker of Lucerne Valley, CA; brother-in-law, Fred Bell of Clarkston, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jack Hannah, and sister, Carole Bell. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11 AM at Bethel Church in Owatonna with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
