Carole M. Blumberg

Blumberg, Carole M. Age 79, Shorewood, passed away September 24, 2013. Preceded in death by mother Marion Somod and late husbands Robert Meredith and Thomas Dale. Carole was born in Morgan, MN and grew up in Minneapolis where she graduated from Washburn High School. Reading, decorating and traveling were just a few of Carole's many passions; however her true passion rested in her love of spending time with family, friends and 3 kitties: Mittens, Cinder and Missy. She was an avid animal lover, and not once passed up the opportunity to provide comfort and shelter for animals in need. An incredible wife, mother, grandma and friend to many, Carole had the ability to create rays of sunlight even on the darkest of days. Her considerate, loving and inquisitive nature will be greatly missed. Survived by husband Don; daughter Teri (Tom) Lawson; son Bret (Julie) Meredith; grandchildren Lauren & Kyle Meredith; stepson Thomas Dale (Barbara Creighton) and many other close relatives and friends. A Celebration of Carole's life will be held Sunday, October 6th from 1-4 pm at the Lafayette Club, 2800 Northview Rd., Minnetonka Beach, MN 55361.
