Troyer, Marija age 70, of Lakeville, passed away April 22. Survived by loving husband and soul mate of 50 years, John; daughters, Nicole McAloon (Greg) of Minneapolis and Andrea (Dan) of Los Angeles; grandsons, Leo and Hugo; and Agatha and Loretta. Marija grew up in Croatia, but after her romance with John during a year of study in the U.S., they married and settled in Minnesota. Known for her warm and affectionate nature, she was the ultimate caregiver, raising her two girls, teaching high school German for many years, and caring for her aging mother in her own home. In recent years, she relished trips to Los Angeles and Belfast to see her grandsons; indulged her passions for reading, theater, film, and Game of Thrones; and got to see Paris. Our love for her is profound. Laku Noc, Mama. Memorial Service 2:00 pm on Friday, May 3, at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W 50th St, Edina, 55436. Visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Foundation for Women's Cancer, www. foundationforwomenscancer.org/
