Liggett, Joan Hiser 1926 - 2012, of St. Paul. A longtime Minnetonka resident. Much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. In addition to her family and friends, Joan loved art, music and dancing. She was an elegant and well- mannered lady, who found time to listen to and care for others. Survived by children Pamela (Kevin Leehan) of St. Paul; Mark (Lilly) of Powell, Wyoming; and Priscilla (Paul Moore) of Scottsdale, Arizona; siblings Marianna Burwell and Bruce Hiser; grandchildren Kerry, Malcolm, Christina, Thomas, Daniel, Michael, Stephanie, Jennifer, Sarah, Elizabeth, John and Heidi plus many nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in passing by her husband of over 50 years, William Edward Liggett, her parents Mary and Chedell Hiser, and Brother David C. Hiser. Our dear Nana will be missed by us all. A celebration of her life and Memorial Service, open to all friends, will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, November 23, 2012 at The O'HALLORAN & MURPHY Snelling Ave. Chapel, 575 So. Snelling Ave. St. Paul, MN. 55116 651/698-0796. Visitation gathering beginning at 9:30 AM Friday prior to service. Interment later at Faith Presbyterian Cemetery, Minnetonka. Memorials are preferred to: Beacon Haven (Beaconhaven. com/giving); The Principia (Principia.edu); Salvation Army; or, FM Radio Station KOFG 91.1 in Cody, Wyoming.
