Baumgartner, Brian M. Age 54, of Shoreview, passed away suddenly. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Hailey. Survived by wife, Michelle; children, Rachel (John) Jung and Alison; grandchildren, Madison and newborn Nolan (4/25/12); parents, Alice and Jerry Baumgartner; siblings, David and Sue; mother-in-law, Marjorie Coughlin; many other family and friends. Brian was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend to all he met and to all who knew him. Brian graduated from the U of M Law School in 1983. Brian was an avid athlete and continued to enjoy playing basketball all throughout his life as well as remain active in a bowling league and on a soccer team. Brian enjoyed life, watching sunsets by the bonfire, reading, remodeling, entertaining, boating, camping, snowmobiling, watching his daughter play soccer, weekly time with his granddaughter, weekly card games and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Gathering of friends and family will be held from 4-7 PM (service begins at 5 PM) Sunday, April 29, 2012 in the Olympic Room at the John Rose Oval, 2661 Civic Center Drive, Roseville.
