Two days before she died, she saw Herb fly across the room. She said he looked "beautiful." Visitation: Thursday, May 26, Koop Funeral Home, Crosby, Minnesota, 4:00 to 8:00. Committal: 1:30 Friday at Lakewood Cemetery. (As usual, Mother may be late.) Per her wishes, Mother will be carried to the cemetery by horse and wagon, accompanied by a jazz band. We leave Koop at 1:00 p.m. Follow the procession or be on the street as the carriage passes. (Mother loved a parade.) Gather at American Legion in Ironton to laugh, cry and share memories, beginning at 3:00. We are deeply grateful to the staff at Wellstead Assisted Living for their warmth, friendship and loving care.
