Bornhoft, Arnold Age 88, of Northfield, passed away May 19, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, Maime and Arnold Sr.; stepfather, William T. Sessing; and first wife, Jeanne. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sharon; sons, Stephen (Margot) of Panama City, FL, Mark (Janice) of Mounds View and Tad (Kim) of Minneapolis; stepchildren, Brett (Stephanie), Sarah and Carolyn Wieben of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Nick, Emily (Adam), Andrew (Mindy), Geoffrey, William. Born in Britton, S.D., on Sept. 7, 1922. Graduated from Minneapolis West High School and the University of Minnesota. Served honorably in the Marines in World War II. Employed by Alexander & Alexander Insurance for 35 years. He was a lifelong learner who loved books and who unfailingly exhibited patience, honesty and modesty. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 23, at 3 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, Northfield. Visitation will take place for one hour prior to service.
