Mike Gwiazdon

Gwiazdon Mike Gwiazdon, age 74, of Mpls, MN, passed away in the final hour of the last day of the year, December 31, 2001. The devoted and only son of Sophie and Lawrence Gwiazdon, of Cedar, MN, is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, MaryAnn, and daughters, Shirley, Roxanne and Wendy; and five sisters, Josephine, Vicky, Dorothy, Patsy and Lorraine. Being of the generation that was taught to honor, above all, the sacred bonds of family, Mike Gwiazdon never questioned the responsibilities that life gave him. Knowing that he had to provide for his parents, wife & daughters, he worked ceaselessly for the same company, Culligan Water Conditioning, for 31 years, and was not known to ever take a sick day. A passionate traveler, Mike recounted to his family, over the Christmas holiday, details of a trip that he and MaryAnn and friends, Chester and Cyrilla, had made to Poland and Italy in 1969. He added that what he really liked was the atmosphere at the airport - the planes, the hustle and bustle, and people going away to new places, discovery.
