Juergens, Mark Philip Roy Age 56 of Minneapolis, previously from Stillwater, passed away on January 12, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Manley and Harriet Juergens. He is survived by his loving daughter, Leona; brothers, Hugh (Maria) of North Oaks and Steve (Peggy Sue) of Seattle, WA; former wife, Denise Roy; uncle, John (Kristy) Juergens of Rochester; aunts, Ruth (Harry) Nelson of Apple Valley and Darlene Anderson of Seattle, WA; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Mark graduated from Stillwater High School and received a BA from Carleton College and MBA from Northwestern University. He worked for many years at Pillsbury. After an accident in 1982, he became a quadriplegic. With rehabilitation, he lived independently, participated in wheel chair sports, and led a productive life. The love of his life was his daughter Leona. A service celebrating Mark's life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at University Baptist Church, 1219 University Ave. S.E., Minneapolis. Lunch will follow the service. Visitations are at 5-8 PM on Friday, Jan. 21 at Washburn-McReavy Davies Chapel, 2301 Hennepin Ave. S., Minneapolis and one hour prior to service at the church.
