LaMont Barnes

Barnes, LaMont "Barney" age 91, of Brooklyn Center, passed away on Oct. 16, 2010. WWII Army Air Corps Veteran. Retired longtime employee of United States Postal Service. Preceded in death by his wife, Delores; son, Mike; sister, Clarice. He will be deeply missed by his children, Janis (James) Hovda, Greg (Lanette) Barnes, Wendee (Butch) Thompson, Kim Barnes (Bill Kraus); grandchildren, Damon, Jaci, Matt, Devoni, Christopher; many relatives and friends. Visitation 1 hour before service. Memorial Service 4 pm Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100). Private interment at Ft. Snelling.
