Peter Harvie Ffolliott
Ffolliott, Peter Harvie Age 97 of Boca Grande, Florida, died peacefully on October 14, 2010. He was born on April 15, 1913, in Everett, Washington, a son of the late Frederick Kerr Ffolliott and Ella Lyons Harvie Ffolliott. He was graduated from the St. Paul Academy in 1933 and Dartmouth College in 1937 and served in the US Navy during World War II, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was an enthusiastic amateur drummer and the author of two self-published memoirs, What Your Daddy Did in the War and An' Pore Little Peter. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters and his wife of 63 years, Gertrude Boeckmann Ffolliott, all of whom lived into their 90s. He is survived by five children, Gertrude Hill (Terry) Ffolliott, Sheila Ffolliott, Mary Boeckmann (Sissy) Ffolliott, Peter Harvie Ffolliott, Jr., and Ann Gavin Ffolliott; four granddaughters, Rachel Anne Ffolliott, Erica Rose Ffolliott, Kerry Krech Morrison, and Teal Krech Paynter, six great-granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
