Henry Shogren

Shogren, Henry "Hank" Age 82, of Richfield died Oct. 11, 2010. Born Aug. 17, 1928 in Sandstone, MN with Spina Bifida he was not expected to survive two days. He proved everyone wrong over and over again, making it through 82+ years of life. His love for his family kept him going. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Edie; his two sons, Eric (Kim) and Mark (Karen); and 5 grandkids, Addison, Thomas, Clark, Elizabeth, and Miriam. In his words, "I finally made it to the University of Minnesota" as he donated his body to science. A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 15, 11:00 am at Woodlake Lutheran Church, Richfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society, Gillette's Children's Hospital, or Woodlake Lutheran Church.
