Survived by her husband of 23 years, Charles; children, Jeffrey, Julia and Justin; parents, Akira and Sotoe Okada; sister, Takako Ohya; mother-in-law, Harriet; brother-in-law, Frank (Doris Schmitz); nieces and nephews; and her family in Japan.
