Miller, Ann Marie (Wheeler) age 46, died on October 7, 2010 at her home in Minneapolis after a four year struggle with cancer. Born July 22, 1964 in Grand Forks, ND, Ann graduated from River Falls High School, WI, was an enthusiastic member of the marching band and was a proud graduate of the University of MN with a BS degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Survived by her loving husband, Tom; mother, Darlene; father, Larry; brothers, Chris, Matt and John; and her honorary grandchildren, Mason, Ella and Samone. Ann's joy in life was helping people with disabilities. She generously supported clients and staff at Midway Training Services where she was loved by all. She was a leader in special education, worked for the Special Olympics, completed several years of service with YMCA and will be remembered as a Nurturer-of-People. Visitation Tuesday, Oct. 12, 6:30-8:30 PM, at Washburn-McReavy Crystal Lake Chapel, 3816 Penn Ave N. (612-521-3677). Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 13, with visitation 1 hour before service and luncheon to follow, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 3rd Ave. S., Mpls.
