Nicholas Cale McCarty

McCarty, Nicholas Cale Age 32 of Mpls. Gone Too Soon. Nick passed away October 6. Nick was a passionate musician, DJ, cyclist and chef as well as graduating with honors from MCTC with an AS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is survived by his parents, Kathryn and Colin (Terry) McCarty; brother, Clayton; sister, Leyna Koss (Michigan); his grandparents, George and Gloria Hoglund and Ruth McCarty as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Gethsemane Episcopal Church in downtown Minneapolis, 905 4th Avenue South, Mpls, MN 55404 on October 16, 2010 at 2 pm. Free parking is available in the ramp at the corner of South 4th Ave and 9th St. Memorials will go to organizations promoting alternative forms of transportation.
