Mayer A. Grossman
Grossman, Mayer A. age 76, of Minnetonka, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Ruth Grossman. Survived by wife of 55 years, Molly; son, David Grossman (Beth); daughter, Marni Bumsted (Steve); brother, Gary Grossman (Arlene); 8 grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Dani, Sydnie, Ben, Sam, Alex and Mackenzie; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sheldon and Phyllis Post; many loving extended family and close friends. Throughout his life, Mayer ran the family's business, Micky's Liquor. He was a member of Cataract Lodge No. 2 since 1963, a member of Zuhrah Shrine 101 Unit and Rod and Gun Unit, and a member of the Minneapolis Scottish Rite 32°. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mayer had a passion for the outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren and friends, fishing and hunting.
