Hardt, Ellen Josephine There is another angel in heaven today and a brighter star in the sky as God has called Ellen Josephine Hardt home on 9/25/2010 at the age of 99. Born 9/5/1911 in Binghamton, NY. Survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Edward of Anoka, MN; daughters, Ellen Jean (Bill Ellis) of Meadview, AZ and Leslie (Peter Stanek) of Brooklyn Park, MN; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 12 great- great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers, Howard and Malon; sister, Gladys; and grandson, Michael. Formerly of South Mpls., she was a long time member of Hope Lutheran Church. Also, she was active in St. Kevin's Catholic Church's kitchen band called the "Kevin Belles", raising money for charity playing at many venues. Former "Avon Lady", she loved her arts, crafts, and baking. So gracious, loving and caring, she will be missed by all. Private interment Friday, Oct. 1 at Lakewood Cemetery.
