James T. DeSignor
DeSignor, James T. 61, passed away Weds., Sept. 22, 2010, in Mpls, MN, resulting from an illness related to a spinal cord injury he suffered in 2007. He was born Sept. 6, 1949, in Joliet, IL, to Ernest and Billie DeSignor. James was a graduate of Villanova University and worked as a Chemical Engineer for 15 years. He was an avid fisherman and realized his dream of owning his own lake resort, Shady Shores, after that. He loved his family, friends, sports, animals and being outdoors. He was an intelligent, charming, caring individual who will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. Private Gathering will be attended by immediate family only. Donations to the Courage Center in Golden Valley will be gratefully accepted. Preceded in death by Ernest DeSignor and Billie DeSignor. Survived by daughter, Allison DeSignor; son, Anthony (Einar) DeSignor, Brother Thomas (Denise) DeSignor; brother, Joseph (Dawn) DeSignor, former wife, Jane DeSignor; and many other family and friends.
