Anthony Felix ("Tony") Benincasa

Benincasa, Anthony ("Tony") Felix, Jr. Age 61, of Blue Springs, MO, died Sept. 14 after a 2-year battle with Leukemia. Tony was born Jan. 31, 1949, the son of Anthony and Anna Benincasa. He was preceded in death by his father. Tony is survived by his wife, Wendy; daughters, Michelle Benincasa and Kristine Adams (Shane); son, Anthony III (Gina Windsperger); granddaughter, Avery Grace Benincasa; mother, Anna; sisters, Rose Donato (Antonio), Inez Caliguiri (Saverio), Patricia Cotlow, Angela Bainey (Brad), Barbara Virgillo, and Ilene Rooker (Jim); brothers, Peter (Michelle) and James (Jody); uncle, Elliot Benincasa (Emily); and aunt, Rosalie Phillips. He was the beloved uncle of 24 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and -nephews. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday, Sept. 23, Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Vernon Ave at Hwy 100. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, Sept. 24, with visitation beginning at 10 AM at The Church of Our Lady of Grace, 5071 Eden Ave., Edina. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
