McLaughlin, Byron H., M.D. age 93, of Green Valley, AZ, died Sept. 11, 2010. Born Oct. 27, 1916. After serving in WWII and completing surgical fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, "Dr. Mac" was a founding physician of North Memorial Hospital and the Crystal Clinic. Preceded in death by first wife, Inez-Muriel "Imy" McLaughlin; sister, Kathleen Hanks and granddaughter, Courtney McLaughlin. Survived by wife, Judy Westlake McLaughlin; children, Dr. Michael H. McLaughlin, Mrs. Candice McGraw and Mrs. Cheryl Glaessner; 5 stepchildren & 12 grandchildren. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Green Valley Mortuary. Memorials preferred to Santa Rita Care Center in Green Valley, American Macular Degeneration Foundation, or North Memorial Hospice.
