Dorothy Mae Burgess

Burgess, Dorothy Mae Passed away Monday September 13, 2010, after a long battle with illness. She was born on May 20, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN where she attended Saint Margaret's Academy and worked as a dental technician. She lived in Dunwoody, GA since 1964. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a world-class cook whose culinary creations delighted family and friends. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 o'clock Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328. A memorial service celebrating Dorothy's life will be held at 7:30, in the Arlington Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald P. Burgess; daughter, Susan O'Sheasy and son-in-law Michael O'Sheasy of Roswell, GA; son, Donald P. Burgess, Jr. and daughter-in-law Cynthia Burgess of Alma, CO; and grandchildren, Beth O'Sheasy, Caroline O'Sheasy, Megan Hagood, and Daniel Burgess.
