Joanne M. (Boeser) Hacker

Hacker, Joanne M. (Boeser) Age 70, of Minneapolis, passed away August 31st, 2010. Our beloved Joanne celebrated life daily. She valued her family and friends above all else. She had a generous and vibrant spirit. She had a passion for serving the unemployed. She worked and volunteered in the career counseling field for over 30 years. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend. Joanne was preceded in death by her father and mother, Harold & Gladys; her brother, Rodney, and her son, Matthew. She is survived by her sister, Donna (Boeser) Bennett (David); her daughters, Kathy (Leighton) Whelan, Liz (Leighton) Pearson (Kurt), her son, Mike Leighton (Patty), 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family visitation (10:00 a.m.) and Memorial service (11:00 a.m.) will be held Thurs., Sept. 16th, luncheon to follow, St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave. S., Richfield 55423 (612-866-5089). Memorials will be used for the education of Joanne's grandchildren. There will be a private interment.
