Peil, Carmelita Long Age 89 of West St. Paul, passed away Sunday, September 5th, 2010, a month shy of her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur J. Peil, Jr.; parents, Amelia J. and James E. Long, and her six siblings. She was born October 17th, 1920, and grew into a charming Irish girl with an unerring fashion sense. An avid bridge player, dedicated baseball fan, experienced world traveler, and supporter of innumerable charities, Carm will be greatly missed by her children, Mary (Bob) Cassady, Joanne (John) Rongitsch, Art (Mary) Peil, and Jeannette Peil; her grandchildren, Bill Cassady, Elizabeth Rongitsch, Sarah (Jim) Wadsworth, and A.J., Mike, and Jen Peil; her great-grandchildren Ella and Jack Wadsworth; loving nieces and nephews and their partners; and many dear friends. Special thanks to Cheryl Atkins of Angel Care Services and the staffs of HealthEast Hospice and Southview Acres, who helped ease her passage into the next life. Mass of Christian Burial Noon Saturday at the Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Ave., West St. Paul. Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul 4-8 PM Friday and at church 1 hour prior.
