Carla M. (Cliver) Lavine

Lavine, Carla M. "Susie" (nee Cliver) of Crystal, MN. Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Died peacefully on August 30, 2010. Born in Marshfield, WI on March 16, 1938. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Erna Cliver, and grandson, Sam Lavine. Survived by husband of nearly 50 years, David E. Lavine; daughter, Dana (David) Misner; son, Eric (Jennifer) Lavine; grandsons, Max and Eli Misner; brother, Robert (Genevieve) Cliver; nieces, Michelle Cliver and Paula Traywick; and dear friend, Cynthia Aigner. Carla was a loving, doting mother and grandmother, and a warm and thoughtful friend. She loved others generously, enjoyed long visits, shared fantastic stories, never forgot a birthday, had a clever sense of humor, and gave easily to those in need. An avid volunteer, she gave time to the PTA, Wise & Guys and her PEO organization. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and those who knew her. Private family interment. A Celebration of Carla's life is being planned for a later date. As she loved the "little ones," memorial preferred to Carla's favorite organization, the Ronald McDonald House.
