Steacie, Edward III Beloved husband of Dorothy Fegley Steacie died Aug. 31 at Maranatha Nursing Home in Brooklyn Ctr. He was born May 20, 1920 in Framingham, MA to Edward Steacie, Jr. and Pauline Miles Steacie. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and sister, Joyce Parks. After high school he attended Northeastern University in Boston before joining the Navy in 1941. In 1945, after WWII, he finished his schooling with a degree in Business Administration. He worked in sales most of his career. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayzata. Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Joanne; sons, Robert and Richard; grandchildren, Tanya Gresham and Jesse Hollie; and four great grandchildren. Memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church or I.O.C.P. in Wayzata. The family would like to express admiration and gratitude to the doctor, nurses and staff at Maranatha Nursing Home for their loving care of Edward.
