Loraine A. Phelan

Phelan, Loraine A. Born April 11, 1904 in Milwaukee, WI; died August 27, 2010. Loraine and her late husband, John "Jack" A. Phelan, established Phelan Mfg. Corp. in the 1940's. After Jack's death in 1976, Loraine continued to operate the business until her 101st year. The couple's only child, Sally Joan, died in 1942 just before her 16th birthday. Loraine is survived by many friends, including longtime employees. Her thoughtfulness for others will be long remembered. At Loraine's request there will be no service. Instead, friends will gather at 7 PM, Tuesday, September 7 at Washburn-McReavy, Edina, to commemorate her life. Private interment. Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100
