Sklader, Pauline Age 91. Preceded in death by husband, Louis; brothers, Moey Alpert, Mike Alpert and Dave Alpert; and sisters, Lilly Goldfarb, Phyllis Toberman and Jeanne Shapiro. Survived by daughter, Avis Weisman of Chicago; son, Charles (Sharon) Sklader of Scottsdale; and son, Ira (Gail) Sklader of Richfield. Pauline is survived by six wonderful grandchildren, Jordan Marsh, Jennifer (Mike) Gordon, Josh Sklader, Leah (Codey) Sklader-Yost, Adam Sklader and Jillian Sklader; and two beautiful great-grandchildren, Daniel and Rachel Gordon. As a graduate of North High, Pauline enjoyed attending class reunions and socializing with people of all ages. Pauline had a remarkable memory for recognizing faces and remembering names of people she met throughout her life. Pauline was a 20+ year employee of the Star Tribune, Circulation Dept. The family wishes to thank the Boone family and Hidden Creek Assisted Living for making Pauline's final years so comfortable and for their wonderful support. A special thanks to Dr. Alan Divine for his many years of compassionate care. In addition, the family will always cherish the unselfish acts of kindness provided by Pauline's niece and nephew, Bobbie and Steve Goldfarb. A private gravesite service was held on Friday, Oct. 30. Memorials, if so desired, could be made to Breast Cancer Research.
