Rainville, Alice W. age 80, of Minneapolis. Preceded in death by husband, Richard; parents, John & Barbara Whalen; brother, Patrick; sisters, Elaine Whalen, Mildred Buck, Jean Haller, Betty Adkins and son-in-law, James Rice. Survived by daughter, Barbara (Duane) Johnson; sons, Richard (Nancy) Rainville Jr. and John (Joan) Rainville; daughters, Alice Mary Rainville (Scott Babcock), Elizabeth (John) Menigo, Therese (Dale) VanBlarcom and Dorothy Rice; grandchildren, Sarah Johnson, Emily Johnson Piper, Margaret Johnson, Richard Rainville III, Catherine Rainville, Jenna Rainville, Jack Rainville, Mitchell Menigo, Elaine Menigo, Noelle VanBlarcom Burmis, Claire VanBlarcom, James VanBlarcom, Rosemary Rice and Mark Rice; great-grandchildren, Louis Piper, Alice Piper and Luke Burmis. Sister Shirley Eno; brothers, Robert (Pearl) Whalen and James (Jean) Whalen; brother-in-law, Edward (Audrey) Rainville; sister-in-law, Louise Rainville and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 11th at the Church of the Ascension, 1723 Bryant Avenue North, Minneapolis, with visitation starting at 9:00 AM. Luncheon following at the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Avenue South, Minneapolis. Private Interment. Memorials preferred to the family for distribution according to Alice's wishes.
