Shaw, William MacGregor U.S. Marine Corps' Corporal, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, unexpectedly left this world at age 27 on Monday, Nov. 16th. Will left a legacy of unwavering loyalty and unyielding commitment to his friends, family, and Marine brothers. Will's brilliance was multifaceted, and his creativity and talents knew no boundaries. He was not only a warrior, but an artist, historian and academic. Will's sense of humor was precluded only by his dignity and commitment to building a safer world. There were no boundaries for his capacity to care and act for those he loved and protected. Throughout his life, he exemplified the ideal that actions speak louder than words. Will was a quiet man of dreams and deep connections. As a loving son, William is survived by his father and step-mother, David and Mary Shaw, his mother and step-father, Stephanie and Jeff Etzel, his beloved sister, Isabel Shaw, and step-brothers Travis and Taylor Etzel, and Aernie Burns.
