Milun, Alex Whose radiant smile lifted the hearts of so many, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. In the 24 years he was with us, we were blessed by Alex's sparkle, his positive attitude towards life, his quick intelligence and helpfulness. All who knew Alex knew he was the bright-eyed student of the world's issues. A passionate reader, ever eager to discuss with you his discoveries about what goes into creating a just society; his most frequent childhood phrase, "I wonda why," became, as a young man, "what should be done?" Always exploring how things fit together, Alex could build you a political argument, a backyard club house, or a cabin picnic table. He was a hard and cheerful worker, repotting grandma's flowers or raking leaves for grandpa. He talked about having a farm outside of town someday with Hillary, growing food on the land and living connected to family. Alex loved his family and was deeply loved in return. Our son, our brother, our grandson, our nephew, our cousin, our beloved companion and friend, Alex, we carry you in our hearts where your smile shimmers and glows. Talk to us still Alex. We love and miss you. Visitation Mon 10 am, funeral 11 am, lunch immediately after at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, GV.
