Anne was born Anna Frances Lamkin on December 2, 1938, in Fulton, Missouri to Frances Byers and Henry C. M. Lamkin. She was raised in St. Louis and graduated with a BA from Ohio State University in 1959. She received her MSW in 1977 and her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983. Anne passed peacefully at home in Minneapolis, MN, on July 5, 2024, where she had been in hospice care for almost a year. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay Minter Lamkin and Frances Byers Lamkin, and is survived by her husband John, sons, Christopher (Millie Acamovic) Wilson, Peter (Stephanie) Wilson, Todd Wilson, Michael (Pamela Walker) Horton, Alexander (Leslie) Beilin, and daughters Laura Beilin and Leanna Espinal, and granddaughter Ivy Engleman, and grandsons Robert Wilson, James Wilson, Ryan Espinal, and Luca Beilin. She is also survived by sister Candace Bishop, and brothers Henry (Mae) Lamkin, Tom (Polly) Lamkin, and Tim (Sheryl) Lamkin. There will be a viewing at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 100 Silver Lake Road NW, New Brighton, at 10:00 a.m. on July 12, 2024, followed by the celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Ft.
