McLeod, Scott "Scotty" Davidson 82, passed away, on Monday, April 29, 2024. Scotty was born on March 2, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Stuart and Doris Mcleod. Scotty loved sailing, and most of his years growing up, you could find him on Lake Harriet, with his brother John, in his family's sailboat. As a matter of fact, that is where he met his high school sweetheart, Judy Swanson. Scotty graduated Southwest High School in 1960. On April 27th, 1963, Scott married his high school sweetheart, Judy Swanson "Cutie Judy". Scott and Judy started their family by adopting their daughter, Meggan, on July 2, 1975, and lived in the greater, Edina, area for the next 49 years. Scotty had three passions...spending time with his family and friends, sailing, and selling commercial HVAC equipment, in the Greater Minnesota area. Scotty never retired, and dedicated his life, all the way to the end, working HVAC construction projects, enjoying his grandchildren, and getting out on a boat as often as he could. Scotty is survived by his wife, Judy, Daughter, Meggan, Son-in-law, Tyson Terhaar, and three grandchildren, Maya, Scottie, and McLeod. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents Stuart and Doris McLeod, and his brother, John McLeod. A celebration of life will be held in his honor, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Washburn - McReavy Funeral home, at 5000 W 50th St & Highway 100, Edina, MN 55436. Service is open to the public and will be followed up with a luncheon thereafter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Scotty can be made to the American Heart Association, Lake Harriet Yacht Club, or a charity of one's choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to making a difference. Scotty will be remembered for his kind heart, spirited enthusiasm, and the loving legacy he leaves behind. His presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed.
