Anderson, Daryl Francis (age 76 of Elk River) was surrounded by his closest loved ones as he passed away after living an incredibly wonderful life. Daryl is survived by the love of his life and wife of 54 years, Sue. They have been inseparable since they first met and she is confident that they will be reunited again in the heavens. He is also survived by his daughter Amy (Mike), sons Brandon (Emily and Hope) and Luke (Tricia and Wyatt), sister and brothers, large extended family, countless friends. Daryl brought strength, humor, and loyalty to every relationship. Many will miss him like we will. Thank you all for being part of his life. Daryl worked at Boyer Ford for 50 years and everyone in Minnesota can thank him for selling the plow trucks that kept our roads clear. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends from Montana to SoDak to Alaska to Palisade. He was the heart of Camp Deer to Me and will be missed and remembered vividly every fall. Daryl created a wonderful legacy for his family. He put his heart into building the cabin and creating a space for family to come together, for children to explore and grow, for laughs and love to occur. And we did come together and we will for generations to come. Friends may pay respects on June 13th with visitation 2-4 PM, service at 4 PM at Washburn-McReavy at 5000 W 50th St, Edina. In lieu of donations, honor Daryl with tales and toasts at your favorite watering hole.
