Hesch, John Rodney passed away in the arms of his son and former wife on Aug 10, 2023, at the age of 72. John was born on Oct 24, 1950, in St. Paul, MN to parents John and Alice Hesch. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Greg. John is survived by his son Conor (Bridget) Hesch, step-son John (Celeste) Kienzle, former wife Eileen Leo, as well as brothers Mark and Jerry Hesch, sister Julie (Stephan) Pozel, sister-in-law Janet Hesch, as well as many loved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. John devoted over 25 years of his life to coordinating and teaching anger management classes at the Twin Cities Men's Center. Upon his retirement Mayor Frey named Nov 18, 2021, the "John Hesch 'Men Helping Men with Anger' Day" in in the City of Mpls. John was an avid reader and traveler who made it a point to take his wife and son on countless adventures. John will be remembered for his hallmark smile as well as the patience and kindness he showed to others. John's life will be celebrated Sunday Sept 24th at the Cremation Society of MN in Edina from 12-4pm with a special hour of remembrance from 1-2pm. If desired, monetary memorials can be made in John's name to Conor Hesch who is setting up a Scholarship for Anger Management Classes to further John's legacy.
