Judith I. 'Judy' Peterson

Peterson, Judith I. "Judy" age 83, passed away peacefully on August 27th. Judy was a longtime resident of Richfield, a graduate of Roosevelt High School and a fiercely independent woman, even as dementia devastatingly claimed more and more of her. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry (Hank) and parents, Clarence and Violet Burmeister, siblings Robert Burmeister, Joyce Forner and Jane Levin. She is survived by daughter Vicki (David) Peterson, son, Ron, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Her seven grandchildren, Chris (Sarah), Stephanie, Becca, Josh, Matt, Abby & Beth, were the joys of her life. Special thanks to Moments Hospice for their caring support. A family service will be held to celebrate her life.
