Zenk, Thomas Nicholas of Bloomington, MN passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 94. He is now happily reunited with his "sweetie" Dorothy. Tom was born on August 22, 1928 in Rollingstone, MN to Edward and Helen Zenk. After graduating from high school, Tom earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from St. Mary's College in Winona, MN. He then joined the Army and became a chemist at an Army facility in Aberdeen, Maryland. Tom married Dorothy Pearl Kelly on May 19, 1951. Upon leaving the Army, he returned to Minnesota and began a long and successful career with Honeywell Corporation as a chemical engineer and subsequently retired as a Quality Control Manager. He was well respected by his colleagues throughout his career. Most important to Tom in life were his faith, wife and family. He also had many interests including raising and showing dog, public speaking as a member of Toastmasters, umpiring little league games, reading, riding on his bright red tractor, and travelling throughout the United States with Dorothy. Some of his favorite travels were to the southwest and winters basking in sunny Florida. Tom is survived by his daughter Teri, sons Anthony (Ruth), Michael (Deb), Kelly (Carla) and Tom (Julie), eight grandchildren, his brother Bob and his sister Mary and many other relatives. His wife Dorothy, his son Timothy, his sister Audrey and his brother Karl preceded Tom in death. Visitation and a memorial mass will take place at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church in Bloomington, MN on May 19, 2023. The visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM to be followed by the memorial mass at 11:00 AM
