Jones, E. Dean, Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Society in Waconia, MN. He was 85 years old. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Chaplain Helmar Heckel will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Dean is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary; his parents, Jack and Dorothy (Olson) Jones; and his sister, Judi E. Anding. He is survived by his brother, John E. Jones; his children, E. Dean (Mark Brodeur) Jones II, Margaret Jones, Thom Jones and Sarah (Joe) Musco; and his granddaughters, Isabel (Matt Beich) Bengtson, and Reilly (Brady) Pahl.
