Roosevelt, Allison Beth (Vraspir) Our dear wife, sister, niece, cousin and aunt Allison Roosevelt passed away on December 2 in Tucson, Arizona with her husband Mark by her side. Allison struggled with Multiple Sclerosis for many years and is now dancing with the angels. Allison was born to Milton and Karen Vraspir in St. Louis Park, Minnesota on September 21, 1959. Allison grew up in Rockford, Minnesota and graduated from Rockford High School in 1978. She went on to attend Minneapolis Technical College where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate. Allison also served for a short time in the United States Navy Reserve as a Hospital Corpsman. Allison was loved by her many residents as well as fellow staff members at the nursing homes where she was employed. Allison married Mark Roosevelt on June 20, 1992 and they spent their time together in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Tucson, AZ. Mark and Allison enjoyed travel and visited several places in Mexico, The Caribbean and even went to South Korea together. Allison is survived by her husband, Mark; sister, Corinne (Keith) Marks; brothers, Dana (Tammy) Vraspir and Jess (Trish) Vraspir, many nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles. Allison was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Karen and her grandparents and beloved fur babies. The family would like to thank the staff at Comfort Gardens who lovingly cared for her the past 22 months. Memorial service will be at Zion Lutheran Church, 241 5th Ave. N., Hopkins, MN, on Friday, Dec. 16, visitation 9 a.m.; service 11 a.m.
