Robb, Cynthia K. (nee Kolb) age 87, of Fridley, born January 27, 1935, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022 after a lifetime of blessings. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Karen and son John Berg. Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, and his daughter Sabrina Robb, grandchildren Joshua Munchow of N. Carolina and Andrea (Tom) Munchow-Schoeberl. Cindy's daughter Laura (John) Garaffa and granddaughter Gabriella Garaffa of Tampa, FL. Daughter-in-law Dareth Berg, grandchildren Jennifer Berg (Andy Merten), Taylor Berg (Mark Sinclair) and Mallory Caswell (Brad). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, cherished relatives and friends. Cindy delighted in the lives of these extended families. Cindy was a creative person with a zest for life. She went snowmobiling at the cabin in Shell Lake, WI and hunted elk at an age when most people would be sitting inside by the fire. She traveled within the U.S. and abroad, camping throughout Canada and the U.S., taking the Orient Express through Europe to Budapest. Earlier in life Cindy was a hospital administrator, a career well-suited to her compassion, empathy and sympathy for others. She and Jerry shared an interest in primitive antiques reflected in their home, as well as an appreciation for beautiful linens and dishes. Always sharing a new author she had discovered, Cindy loved learning, and was a voracious reader. Her pantry and cookbook collection attests to her love of discovering new and wonderful flavors in foods and creating dishes to share with family and friends. She had strong opinions on women's issues and respectfully debated her viewpoints in her deep, low and calming voice. She was very active with her church, staying involved into her eighties in efforts to assist others. Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her famous line when someone was in need, "it's time to circle the wagons" and her help was soon forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in Cindy's name to Family Table at Fridley United Methodist Church. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Fridley United Methodist Church, 680 Mississippi St. NE, Fridley, MN. 55432, on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
