Moseley, Stephen 74, of Naples, FL passed away on June 18, 2022. He is survived by his mother Jacquline Bowe, his brother Richard Moseley, and his wife Susan Moseley, two sons and their spouses; Peet and Ellie Moseley of Minneapolis and Adam and Molly Moseley of Minnetonka, 4 grandchildren; Will, Sully, Addie and Hank and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son; Matthew, father, Ray F. Moseley and stepfather Jack Bowe. Steve was born in Kansas City, MO on November 4, 1947. He moved to NJ settling in Bernardsville where he attended Morristown Prep and then graduated from Dublin Prep School in NH. It was a work ethic school where life skills, were as much of the curriculum as were the classics. He was a standout on the ski team. That influenced him to attend the University of Denver, graduating with a BSBA. Freshmen year he met his wife of 50 years. They married in 1971, and headed back to Steamboat Springs, establishing a construction business; but with a clause in every contract; 6" of fresh powder was a day off. They returned to Mission Hills, KS where Steve joined Moseley and Co, the family commercial real estate firm. Their family became complete with the arrival of Peet and Adam. Soon, many hours were devoted to coaching both hockey and soccer. In 1988, lured by the life style of lake living the family moved to Minnetonka Beach, MN. Steve loved boats and cars, especially his Plus 8 Morgan and the Century; spending countless hours working on both. In the winter he was "riding the pine" with hockey and soccer parents. In the summer they were spent cruising Lake Minnetonka. His retirement focused on golf and model boat building after their move to Naples, FL where they enjoyed everything that Wilderness Country Club offered. He served on the board, heading the building and grounds committee, so committed he always carried a pair of clippers attending to any rogue growth. He co-hosted the Steve & Steve Show, where their take on the "Name That Tune" game show was a sold out event for many years. His playlist was envied and shared often at pool parties, especially with the "Dark Side" gang. Many friends were made, none were left behind; there was always room for more. Please join us to toast a life well lived on August 31st, Pique Travel Center in Excelsior, MN from 5-8pm.
