Hathaway, William Dale Bill was born in Minneapolis on Dec. 19, 1956 and grew up in Wausau, WI. Always a voracious reader, he loved science fiction and delving into topics of interest until he became an expert. He tested his limits with skydiving, martial arts, fencing, and race car driving school, and developed a passion for movies, which he attended several times a week. Bill earned an Electrical Engineering degree from UW-Madison and a law degree from William Mitchell. In his later years, he worked at the non-profit Opportunity Partners where he trained people to do jobs that fit their abilities. Bill died on July 2, 2022 at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Betty Hathaway. He is survived by his sister Holly (Mark) Wadman of Plymouth, MN; 3 nephews, Andy, Tom and Erik; 3 great-nieces and many friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be held 7pm Tuesday, July 26th at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth, 12235 Old Rockford Road with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
