Marcene Joyce Chapman

Chapman, Marcene Joyce Passed into the loving arms of the Lord on June 21, 2022. Marcene was born on Nov. 10, 1933 in Brookings, SD to Orza and Mildred (Lynch) Goodroad. She grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and Worthington, MN where she met her husband Robert L. Chapman. She was a beloved wife, mother, nana and great nana. To her the most important part of life was family. She enjoyed singing in the church and community choir, participating in community theater and gardening. Her holiday dinners were legendary. Preserving her memory are her husband, Bob; daughter, Deb (Tom) Thorson; son, Rob (Nancy) Chapman; grandchildren, Joe and John Wreisner, Rob, Nick and Kelsey (Ubel) Chapman; as well as 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life to be held at Crestview Lutheran Home, 900 42nd Ave. NE, Columbia Hts., 55421, Sat., July 9 at 12PM.
